Stocking Flowers Bunch

Stocking Flowers by Kapil Chandorikar
The flowers above are made by cloth and thin wires. These are known as stocking flowers. As a part of an art activity in my school (10 th standard), I made a lot of them. I made tulips, roses, poinsettia and many more varieties of flowers.

This is a bunch of a few stocking flowers. They are joined using green cloth so as to represent stem.

These artificial flowers look fresh, don't they ?

Mix Flower Pot

Mix Flower Pot by Kapil Chandorikar
The above flower pot contain flowers made by crape paper and by stocking material (cloth) .

Flowers made from crepe paper:
These are flowers made by crape paper: purple and red. These flowers are in shape of rose. I personally like the purple coloured ones. These crepe paper flowers are delicate and look real.

The stocking flowers I made are in the shape of tulips.
These are made from cloth; called stocking flowers.

Krishna Glass Painting

Krishna Glass Painting by Kapil Chandorikar

This is a glass painting of Krishna. The image is drawn and coloured on glass directly and not on the paper below. It is painted using glass colours so it will not fade out with time. I did this when I was in 6th standard (year 2009).

Butterfly Plate Decoration

The plate has been decorated by using small colourful beads on fiber plate. A sketch of butterfly is coloured in black (using black glass hard liner - it gets really hard after drying!) and using fevicol the bead are placed carefully leaving no empty spaces.

Again, this was a part of an activity in the school - plate decoration. Instead of going with diyas and mirrors, I chose an abstract theme.
